I reached out to The Lending Tree after the loan officer I've worked with locally for years could not get my loan on a $1.2m home to with lenders he works with. John was one of the first loan officers to contact me. I discussed with him how the other lender did not want to utilize my overtime and bonus earnings year-to-date along with averaging it with the last 2 years because it was usually high in 2020. He contacted his underwriters immediately and I sent all my income documentation and John obtained a pre-approval immediately. Once all income, assets and property documentation were submitted, he had an approval within days. As we maneuvered through the challenges of a new construction property and a hard builder and listing agent to work with, he pressed hard to get them to get the home completed quickly as they sputtered to complete the home on time. No other loan officer would have assisted in that instance. I know; as I myself, have been in the mortgage industry for 29 years. John is a top notch, second to none loan officer who cares about his clients personally and professionally. 5 stars to John!!

Been through MANY closings and John has facilitated BY FAR the smoothest mortgage loan experience. He is always encouragingly calm, has a ready solution for any issue that might come up due to his decades of lending knowledge and experience, and makes sure things go smoothly. His communication is spot on and he made himself available any time for questions or issues. Very personable, fair and on top of his game. Will definitely go with him again.

When faced with a last minute fall through with another lender, John was able to create a solution that resulted in me getting my preapproval for a traditional loan product the day before a holiday. Him personal investment in a successful result was apparent in every step through closing, including a careful monitoring of interest rate conditions to make sure I got the best deal. My daughter and I are now settling into a very special home and we are very grateful for the service we received.
